Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Flavors and fragrances Givaudan Reports Increase in First-Quarter Sales10:57 AM MDT | April 11, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas Givaudan (Geneva) says sales in the first quarter of 2012 went up 4.7%, to SF1.06 billion ($1.16 billion) compared with SF1.01 billion in the same quarter of the previous year. The fragrance division of the company recorded sales of SF499.1 million in first-quarter 2012, an increase of 6.8% compared with SF467.4 million in the corresponding quarter of 2011. Growth in the fragrance division was driven by increases in volumes and prices, the company says.
