UK firm commissions carbon nanotubes plant

Thomas Swan & Co. (Consett, UK) says it has commissioned a carbon nanotube purification plant at the company's Consett production site. The plant has a capacity of 500 kg/year and produces Thomas Swan's Elicarb single-wall, low-residue carbon nanotubes. Elicarb carbon nanotube products meet the demands of customers who require single-wall carbon nanotubes with low catalyst residues, Thomas Swan says.
