Solutia Acquires Film Manufacturing Assets in Taiwan

Solutia says it has agreed to acquire certain high-tech film manufacturing assets of Aimcore Technology (Taiwan) for $7 million. The company says the deal will enable it to increase capacity to produce Flexvue film components, which are used in touch screens, solar applications, and e-readers.
