Showa Denko to Build High-Purity Cyclohexanone Plant in China

Showa Denko says its Zhejiang Quzhou Juhua Showa Electronic Chemical Materials (Quzhou, China) joint venture is building a 5000-m.t./year high-purity cyclohexanone plant at Quzhou, and the plant is expected to begin commercial production in August 2010. Zhejiang Quzhou Juhua Showa Electronic Chemical Materials was established in 2008, and Showa Denko holds a 51% stake in the jv, and chemical firms Zhejiang Juhua (Quzhou), part of the Juhua group, and its affiliate Zhejiang Jinju Chemical (Quzhou) hold 20% and 29% stakes, respectively, in the jv.
