Praxair to Supply Hemlock Semiconductor's New Polysilicon Plant

Praxair says it has signed a multi-year agreement to supply high-purity hydrogen to Hemlock Semiconductor’s (Hemlock, MI) 36,000-m.t./year polysilicon facility currently under construction at Clarksville, TN. Praxair will build and operate an on-site hydrogen generating facility and supply liquid hydrogen by truck. The plant is expected to start up in 2012.
