(ATMI; Danbury, CT) related to the companies’ respective sub-atmospheric ion implant dispenser technologies for semiconductor processing. The U.S. Court of Appeals upheld an April 2006 decision by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, which had ruled that ATMI’s U.S. patents for certain gas storage and delivery systems technology were invalid, Praxair says.
