PPG expanding OLED materials production in Ohio

PPG has officially opened an expansion of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) materials production at the company’s Barberton, OH site. The new OLED production came online earlier this month and will support Universal Display’s (tk) lighting and display product lines, which sell into the smartphone, television and solid-state lighting markets.
