Licensees Line up for Lithium Metal Phosphate Technology (update)

Süd-Chemie and three organizations owning patents relating to the production of lithium metal phosphate (LMP) and related battery materials have created a company, LiFePO4+C Licensing (Muttenz, Switzerland), to license out the technology. Five companies, including Sony, have agreed sub-licensing deals with the new company.
