Hemlock Semiconductor Names Dow Corning Exec President

Hemlock Semiconductor has named Andrew Tometich to the newly-created post of president. Tometich was most recently business v.p,/strategic feedstocks in Dow Corning's core products division. He joined Dow Corning in 1989, and had held a number of business development and executive posts in the U.S. and Europe. Richard Doornbos will remain CEO, a position he has held since 2006.   Dow Corning has a controlling 60% stake in Hemlock Semiconductor.
