Electronics Materials Market Expected to Spark 9% Growth in 2007

Global sales of electronics materials, including silicon, are expected to rise 9% in 2007, to about $24 billion, compared to last year, says Stanley T. Myers, president and CEO of the electronics manufacturing industry association SEMI (Santa Clara, CA). Myers spoke at the Semicon West expo, held in San Francisco last week.
