Electronic Chemicals: Voltaix Hires New CEO

Voltaix (N. Branch, NJ), an electronic materials manufacturer, has named Peter A. Smith, 45, as its new CEO. Smith brings 20-years of experience working in the hi-tech industry with roles at Motorola, Honeywell and most recently as v.p./corporate strategy for the Bussman division of Cooper Industries (St. Louis, MO).  Smith has a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Rutgers, a BS in Materials Engineering, also from Rutgers, and an MBA from Arizona State University.
