Albemarle Forms Electronic Materials Unit

Albemarle announced today that it has formed an electronic materials business unit within the company’s performance catalyst solutions division. The new unit will sell electronics-grade metal organic materials to the light-emitting diode (LED), compound semiconductor and solar panel sectors.   The unit is currently selling commercial quantities of trimethyl gallium (TMG) and triethyl gallium (TEG).
