Reports: Delaware court green lights Solvay's acquisition of Plextronics

The sale of Plextronics (Pittsburgh) to Solvay USA (Houston), a Solvay subsidiary, for $32.6 million has been approved by the Bankruptcy Court of Delaware, according to court records, media reports say. Plextronics makes conductive inks and polymers for next-generation displays, lighting, and signs and will continue in business at the University of Pittsburgh Applied Research Center. Solvay is Plextronics' largest shareholder and creditor and was the only bidder for Plextronics, court records say, according to the reports. Plextronics filed for Chapter 11...
