Major rare earth company formed at Ganzhou, China

The Chinese government says that a major state-owned rare earth production company has been created at Ganzhou, in Jiangxi Province in southeastern China, for the sustainable development of the country’s rare earths industry. Ganzhou Rare Earth Group was formed through the merger of Ganzhou Rare Earth Mineral Industry Co. and several other local rare earth companies, including Longnan Wanbao Rare Earth Co., the government says.
