Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Electronic chemicals Linde and Voltaix increase disilane capacity in the United States8:14 AM MST | January 28, 2013 | Francinia Protti-Alvarez Linde (Munich) and Voltaix (North Branch, NJ) have expanded disilane capacity at Linde's Upper Mount Bethel Township, PA, site, the companies announced today. The new capacity is required to meet global market demand, and the plant is in operation and customer qualification underway. The two companies, meanwhile, are also discussing plans to install disilane supporting infrastructure at a Voltaix site in Asia. Disilane enables polysilicon to be deposited at lower temperatures with enhanced surface smoothness and increased step coverage versus silane and...
