Electronics and energy, along with safety and graphics, which had 2011 sales of $5.7 billion and $5.5 billion, respectively, are the two new units. The consumer, industrial and health care business segments remain mostly the same, 3M says. Those units had 2011 sales of $4.2 billion, $9.6 billion and $5 billion, respectively. 3M’s current segments are consumer and office, display and graphics, electro and communications, health care, industrial and transportation...
