Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Catalysts Süd-Chemie Predicts 15%-19% Drop in Ebit for 2009; Posts Record Results for 200812:28 PM MDT | March 31, 2009 | Alex Scott Süd-Chemie (Munich) predicts that its Ebit will fall by 15%-19% in 2009 from an Ebit for full-year 2008 of €117.1 million. Corresponding sales for 2009 are predicted to be about unchanged from the 2008 figure of €1.19 billion, or to fall by up to 3%. The Ebit slide predicted by the company for 2009 follows record financial figures for full year 2008 with Ebit up 16% and sales up 11%. Ebitda for 2008 rose 17% to €166.4 million.
