OM Group Licenses Rahu Catalyst Technology for Coatings

Rahu Catalytics (Nottingham, U.K.) says it has entered into a license and supply agreement with OM Group (OMG; Cleveland) for Rahu’s iron-based oxidation catalyst. Under the deal, OMG has the right to use the catalyst as a drier in coatings and inks, and as a polymerization additive for composites. The technology is designed to meet future regulations relating to the use of transition metal-based soaps in these markets, Rahu says.
