Johnson Matthey's Catalysts and Fine Chemical Results Improve

Johnson Matthey today reported improved sales and profits results for its fiscal third quarter ended December 31. Johnson Matthey announced in an interim management statement that group sales excluding precious metals rose 22% compared to the year-ago period. Operating profit jumped 31% on improved operating leverage and higher precious metal selling prices.
