Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Catalysts Haldor Topsoe to Build Catalyst Plant in China5:27 AM MDT | June 18, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Haldor Topsoe (Lyngby, Denmark) says it has signed an agreement on June 15, with the Tianjin Economic Technological Development Area (TEDA), to buy land to build a new catalyst plant at Tianjin, China. The agreement was signed by chairman, Dr. Haldor Topsoe and Wang Qiang, vice chairman of TEDA, during Chinese president Hu Jintao’s state visit to Denmark. The catalyst plant is expected to start operating in early 2014 and will employ about 100 people. With the new plant Topsoe says it expects a considerable increase in turnover in China. “We will...
