Haldor Topsoe expands catalyst plant in Denmark

Haldor Topsoe says it has opened its newly expanded catalyst plant at Frederikssund, Denmark. The expansion, an investment of over 300 million Danish kroner ($56 million), has added a new production unit called P6, which will focus on producing catalysts used by refineries for converting crude oil into diesel with low sulfur content, to reduce the impact on the environment, Topsoe says. Construction of P6 began in October 2012, and the unit is now ready for commissioning, Topsoe says. The expansion will create 27 new jobs at the Frederikssund...
