Grace advances Mideast catalyst project

W.R. Grace says it has advanced its previously announced plans to build a fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts manufacturing plant unit near Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Grace says it has executed a joint venture agreement Al Dahra Agriculture to build the $200-million FCC catalysts plant, which will be the first in the Mideast region and serve refiners throughout the Mideast and, potentially, South Asia.
