Specialty Chemicals: Altana Predicts Slower Demand Growth in 2008

Specialty chemicals firm Altana (Wesel, Germany) says it expects “continued positive demand for specialty chemicals products” in 2008, but that “the demand growth should be slower compared with 2007.” The firm made the comments at its annual financial results conference held on March 18.
