Fuller Exits European Polysulfide Insulating Glass Sealant Market

H.B. Fuller will exit the European polysulfide-based insulating glass sealant product line by the end of 2010. Fuller says polysulfide-based products have become commoditized because they are “difficult to differentiate” from competitors’ products. Fuller says it will continue to sell its line in the U.S. and Asia. The business generated sales of about $25 million in Fuller’s fiscal year 2009, ended November 28, 2009.
