Caulks, Sealants Demand to Rise

U.S. caulks and sealants demand is expected to rise 2.9%/year to more than 2 billion lbs and reach nearly $4 billion in 2012, says a recent study by The Freedonia Group (Cleveland). The study cites strengthening in end-market fundamentals including an expected improvement in aerospace, motor vehicle, and two “critical” construction markets—residential building and nonbuilding markets such as highways.
