Outlook Worldwide demand is forecast to grow at 3.7%/year for crude acrylic acid and at 4.1%/year for glacial acrylic acid from 2006-11, says SRI Consulting (SRIC; Menlo Park, CA). Global acrylic acid capacity in 2007 was 4.6 million m.t., SRIC says.
