3M to Buy French Adhesives Firms

3M says it has agreed to acquire polyurethane-based structural adhesives and sealants producers EMFI (Haguenau, France) and SAPO (Haguenau). EMFI and SAPO together employ about 350, 3M says. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter, subject to customary closing conditions.
