Solutia Sells Perkalink Business and Select Primary Accelerators to Lanxess

Solutia says it has sold its Perkalink anti-reversion agent business to Lanxess for an undisclosed sum. The company says it has also entered into a definitive agreement to sell select primary accelerators assets to Lanxess. Financial terms were not disclosed.   Perkalink is part of Flexsys, Solutia's technical specialties product portfolio, which manufactures and supplies high-quality rubber chemicals and specialty fluids. Perkalink helps tires avoid the risk of reversion during the vulcanization process and thus improve the service life of tires, and...
