Report: Lanxess delays converting E-SBR tech to S-SBR tech at Triunfo

At its Triunfo, Brazil, site, Lanxess has delayed replacing its emulsion styrene butadiene rubber (E-SBR) technology with that for solution styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR) production, according to Jornal do Comércio. The completion of the €80-million ($108 million) technology conversion had been scheduled for the end of 2014 but has now been pushed to 2016, the report says.
