Markets :: Plastics :: Synthetic rubber Lanxess Signs Supply Deal with Chinese Tire Company12:15 AM MDT | July 28, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Lanxess says it has signed an agreement with Triangle Group (Weihai, China) one of the largest tire companies in China, under which Lanxess will supply Triangle with premium halobutyl rubbers from 2012 to 2014. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Lanxess has been supplying Triangle with regular and halobutyl rubbers for more than 10 years. “China is already the largest tire and automotive market in the world and is set to grow even further, driven by the megatrend mobility,” says Ron Commander, global head of the butyl rubber business...
