Lanxess Reduces Butyl Rubber Production in Canada and Europe

Lanxess says it is reducing butyl rubber production at its Zwijndrecht, Belgium; and Sarnia, ON sites due to a decline in demand. The plants will either be operating at reduced capacity or will be temporarily shutdown in the coming months, which will allow for routine maintenance work, Lanxess says.
