Lanxess Bounces into Russian Rubber Partnership

Lanxess says it has signed a distribution deal with Halopolymer (Moscow), a rubber manufacturer, to globally distribute fluororubbers for the Russian company. In return, Lanxess will secure an “extended portfolio” of specialty fluororubbers for its customers outside of Russia. Financial terms were not disclosed.   The size of the global fluororubbers market by volume is more than 20,000 m.t./year.
