Asahi Kasei to Build Second SSBR Plant in Singapore

Asahi Kasei Chemicals (AKC), an Asahi Kasei subsidiary, has confirmed its plans to build a second solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) plant with a production capacity of 50,000 m.t./year at Jurong Island, Singapore. The planned second plant is expected to become operational in January 2015.
