Vinyls Italia Stalling on Restart

Production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) at Vinyls Italia's sites in northeastern Italy and Sardinia has yet to restart, despite an agreement signed last month with ENI (Rome) for the supply of feedstocks and utilities to Vinyls Italia. It had been expected earlier that Vinyls Italia's idled units could be reactivated on about December 15.
