Siam Cement Further Increases Stake in Thai Plastic and Chemicals

SCG Chemicals, the chemical subsidiary of Siam Cement Group (SCG; Bangkok) says it has acquired additional shares in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) producer Thai Plastic and Chemicals (TPC; Bangkok), an affiliate of SCG, through a tender offer. During the tender offer period from February 10, 2012 to March 16, 2012, SCG Chemicals acquired an additional 12.62% stake in TPC.
