Georgia Gulf nominated a 2 cts/lb increase for July PVC contracts two weeks ago. With that, buyers were faced with a full 10 cts/lb increase in resin prices over the past five months. If all the increases go through, there will be roughly a 20% increase in less than half a year. That is more than two times the increase in feedstock costs, buyers say.
