New Bids Submitted for Vinyls Italia Sites at Porto Marghera and Porto Torres

Manufacturing sites in Italy previously operated by Vinyls Italia for the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) could in future be devoted to vegetable oils and renewable energy. Government-appointed commissars for Vinyls Italia are currently assessing new bids for the remainder of the company, which is in the process of being broken up after being in special administration for two years.
