Markets :: Plastics :: Polyvinyl chloride Ineos to Close PVC Facility in the U.K.1:35 PM MST | February 23, 2010 | Lindsey Bewley Ineos ChlorVinyls, an Ineos subsidiary, says it will stop producing polyvinyl chloride (PVC) at its Barry, U.K. plant due to declining demand for PVC. Production will cease by the end of the second quarter, Ineos ChlorVinyls says. The company will continue to supply U.K. customers from its other PVC plants in the country. Those plants are at Runcorn and Newton Aycliffe.
