Ineos, Doeflex receive European Commission approval to combine their PVC compounding businesses

Ineos's compounds subsidiary and Doeflex Compounding (Swindon, UK) have received unconditional clearance from the European Commission to combine the companies' polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounding businesses, the companies announced today. The completion of the deal is expected on 1 September. The original announcement was made last May. The value of the deal has not been disclosed. The combined business will be a Europe-based PVC compounds producer with a revenue in excess of €200 million/year ($268 million) and manufacturing sites in Sweden, Switzerland...
