Europe's July ethylene contract price rises, sets tone for PVC hikes

A €50/m.t. ($68) increase in Europe's feedstock ethylene July contract price has set the tone for a targeted polyvinyl chloride (PVC) contract price increase, according to IHS Chemical's latest Market Advisory Service: Europe Vinyl Weekly. Northwestern Europe's July ethylene contract price was settled at €1,220/m.t. del.
