Markets :: Plastics :: Polyvinyl chloride AkzoNobel Signs Technology Deal with Mexichem3:47 AM MDT | June 21, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh AkzoNobel says it has signed an agreement to supply its continuous initiator dosing (CiD) technology to Mexichem Resinas Vinilicas (Tlalnepantla, Mexico), one of the world's largest polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturers, which is part of the Mexichem (Tlalnepantla) group. The deal, which is AkzoNobel’s first CiD license outside Europe, involves three Mexichem plants - two in Mexico, one in Colombia, which will be supplied with organic peroxide from AkzoNobel's Los Reyes La Paz, Mexico site, where €9 million ($11.5 million) is being invested to...
