Rhodia Acquisition Underpins Solvay's Earnings and Sales

Solvay says net profits and net sales, on a proforma basis, increased 5% and 3% in the fourth quarter of 2011, to approximately €3 billion ($3.9 billion) and €122 million, respectively. Recurring Ebitda (Rebitda) and recurring Ebit (Rebit) on a proforma basis decreased 23% and 39% year over year, to €355 million and €184 million, respectively, Solvay says.
