Styrene Industry Sues to Block Prop 65 Listing

The Styrene Information Research Center (SIRC), and industry group, says it has sued to block California from listing styrene as a “chemical known to cause cancer” under the state labeling law Proposition 65. The industry filed a request for a temporary restraining order to halt the implementation of the Prop 65 listing, a petition the judge has recemt;u denied.
