Nizhnekamsk Awards Toyo PS Contract; Ups Styrenics Output

Nizhnekamskneftekhim (Nizhnekamsk, Russia), one of the leading petrochemical producers in Russia and the country’s largest styrenics player, is adding a fourth polystyrene (PS) line at its Nizhnekamsk manufacturing complex. The company says that it signed today a contract with Toyo Engineering for the construction of a new PS line. This announcement follows the completion of the three existing PS plants in 2003, 2006, and 2008 .
