Markets :: Plastics :: Polystyrene Kraton Polymers IPO Underway10:22 AM MST | December 17, 2009 | Vincent Valk Kraton Polymers commenced its IPO today, offering over 10 million shares at $13.50/share, the company says. About $139 million will be raised as a result of the IPO. The shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol KRA. The company converted to a Delaware corporation prior to the IPO. The proceeds from the stock sale will be used to repay part of Kraton's credit facility and to fund capital projects. Such projects include alternative production capabilities and additional latex capacity for Isoprene Rubber and upgrading operational...
