Ineos Nova to Shut Montreal Polystyrene Site

Ineos Nova says it will shut its 120-million lbs/year polystyrene (PS) plant at Montreal by the end of this year. The closure is a cost-saving move to consolidate PS production at more efficient manufacturing sites, says Kevin McQuade, CEO at Ineos Nova.
