BASF Adds Neopor EPS at Ludwigshafen and Ulsan

BASF says it will increase capacity for Neopor, an improved version of its Styropor expandable polystyrene (EPS), at Ulsan, Korea and Ludwigshafen. It will raise capacity at Ludwigshafen from 60,000 m.t./year, to 190,000 m.t./year, partly as a switch from Styropor manufacture. Capacity at Ludwigshafen will be raised from 60,000 m.t./year, to 100,000 m.t./year by the start of 2008 in a first phase of expansion.
