Markets :: Plastics :: Polypropylene Total’s U.S. Operation Forms Polyolefins Unit1:58 PM MST | January 22, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Total Petrochemicals USA says it has combined its polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) units into a single polyolefins business unit. The move gives the company greater flexibility in meeting market needs, says Bernard Claude, president and CEO. The combined Polyolefins unit also aligns Total Petrochemicals USA more closely with Total Petrochemicals International business, Claude says. Total’s v.p./polyethylene, Bill Campbell, will become v.p. of the unit, and Scott McEwan, v.p./polyproylene, will become executive v.p. and joint representative director...
