Total’s U.S. Operation Forms Polyolefins Unit

Total Petrochemicals USA says it has combined its polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) units into a single polyolefins business unit. The move gives the company greater flexibility in meeting market needs, says Bernard Claude, president and CEO. The combined Polyolefins unit also aligns Total Petrochemicals USA more closely with Total Petrochemicals International business, Claude says.
