Titan completes PP capacity hike at Omsk

Titan Group (Omsk, Russia) has increased its polypropylene (PP) capacity at Omsk through a technology upgrade, the company announced. Capacity has increased by 25% from about 180,000 m.t./year, to 210,000 m.t./year. Titan invested about €280 million for the PP expansion, with work starting in late April 2013. The plant can manufacture up to 100 different PP grades. The company says it has mastered five brands of product including general-purpose PP for extrusion, compounding, and injection moulding; polymer for biaxially oriented polypropylene...
