Russian Polypropylene Plant Resumes Production

Energy company Lukoil (Moscow) says Stavrolen, its petchem subsidiary, has resumed production at its polypropylene (PP) plant at Budyennovsk, Russia, following a complete overhaul of the unit. Production at the PP plant was halted after a fire in the propylene-polymerization reactor, last April killed three workers.
